AD (Alpha-Delta) Gallery
AD Gallery was founded by Pantelis Arapinis in 1986, on the ground floor of the building at 39-41, Lycabettus Street in Athens. In 1999, the gallery moved its exhibition space to 3, Pallados Street in the Psiri district of Athens.
Its regular exhibition programme focuses on avant-garde artists from Greece and other European countries, as well as the U.S., and includes installations, performances, painting, sculpture, video art and photography. The main objective of the gallery is to promote artworks that demonstrate a sense of local or supralocal sociopolitical awareness.
Each exhibition aims at being perceived by the visitor according to its own criteria, avoiding references to past shows.
